• A number of treatments including chemicals such as chlorine, and irradiation “electronic pasteurization” have been used to control bacterial growth on raw poultry products. However, consumer fears about use of chemicals, and meat irradiation have resulted in the need for alternative treatments.
Description
• Bio-Preserve is a unique all natural formula combining mineral and plant extracts which can be used on raw poultry to control the growth of bacterial populations.
• Bio-Preserve is available in liquid format and can be sprayed on raw poultry, or raw poultry may be dipped into Bio-Preserve.
Bio-Preserve Action
Using carefully selected proportions to maximize their anti-microbial efficiency through the action of denaturing proteins which weakens the micro-organism, and/or de-polarizing the cell membrane which enhances the ability to penetrate the micro-organism, becoming toxic to the micro-organism and affecting microbial synthesis of DNA and altering its metabolic pathway, causing the cells to lyse and cell death.
